An Open Letter To my dear Jumu’ah Muslim

My dear Muslim brother. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

Hope you receive this letter in good health.

I am sure you had been to a Masjid today to perform the Friday Prayer.

Well brother….If you think going to Masjid on other days is less important, then try going to your office or job once in a week.

Camel or Egg or not even worth an Egg?

We live in a busy world. If one can take time to do good things in an organised way, one would only be doing good to his own self.

This hadeeth of the Prophet ﷺ encourages us to compete and overtake others in amassing good deeds. 

When a sunnah is replaced by a bid’ah, isn’t it a terrible loss?

The Adhkaarأذكار or supplications after Tasleem is from the established Sunnah of Rasoolullaah sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam.

Tasleem, by the way, is to end the Salah by saying Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah, Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

If you are an Imaam (the one who leads prayers) you need to take time not only for yourself but also facilitate things to those who are being led by you in the congregational Salah.

The Holy Qur’an is a Book of Guidance and Mercy for all mankind. Its verses are a balm for the diseases of the heart, a clear evidence and enlightenment. Allah the most Exalted says, “And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.” (Surah al Israa: 82).

Accessibility of the Mus’haf in the Mosques!

The accessibility of the Mus’haf in mosques is a matter of deep concern. The copies of the Qur’an are seen kept mostly only in the front portion of a Masjid, accessible only to those  in the front rows. People seated in the middle and last rows are not able to reach the Mushaf.

Mus’haf is literally cornered!!

When will this mass slaughter stop?

At the outset, let me say that I do not intend to hurt or make fun of anyone. I am addressing this post to everyone’s reason and logic, and not to anyone’s emotions and sentiments. Thank you and Jazakallah Khayr.  

Al Qur’an is a Book whose first chapter begins in the name of Allah and the last chapter ends with seeking refuge in Allah. Between these two, flows life as such.

How fortunate are those Muslims who are able to read the Qur’an in an excellent manner. Also, how fortunate are those Muslims who are able to listen to the Qur’an being read in an excellent way.
