DEBT is something we to owe to someone.

Dignified humans repay what they owe to others, and good Muslims wish to die without having any debt left behind them.

Ramadhaan fasts + 6 Shawwal fasts make fasting every day!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic calendar.

Fasting six days of the month of Shawwal is mentioned in authentic ahadeeth.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 

“Whosoever fasted in Ramadhaan and then followed up with six fasting days of Shawwal, it is like fasting every day.” (Muslim)

O Mankind…!

Dear non-believers in Islam,

May God’s Peace and Blessings be upon you.

Most of you ‘believe’ that Qur’an is for Muslims alone. No way! Qur’an is for all.

Well, this is not your mistake. My community is responsible for this general misunderstanding among non-Muslims worldwide.

In this post, you will find a collection of verses from the glorious Qur’an addressing mankind. Before you proceed, I would like to briefly clarify two things. 

“We Wanna Crush Them Under Our Feet!”

Today, you look at them in high esteem. Tomorrow you will love to see them become the lowest of the low!

You take pride in following them. Later you will regret.

Today, they are your inspiration. Soon they’ll become the cause of your perspiration!

It will not take much time for today’s honour to become tomorrow’s disgrace!

So beware and take heed. 

“Woe to those who read them without reflection”

“so woe to those who read them without reflecting upon them”. This statement which is part of a Sahih Hadeeth should serve as a warning to all those who read the glorious Qur’an without reflecting upon its verses or pondering over them.

While we Muslims read a lot from the Book of Allah in the blessed month of Ramadhaan, I pray to Almighty Allah to shower upon us the grace of wisdom to understand and reflect over the teachings of His glorious and gracious Book. Aameen.

Dear brothers in Islam, Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.

This is to request all Muslim men – husbands, fathers, fathers-in-law, boys and sons, brothers – to consider these two principal verses of the Glorious Qur’an and appreciate the graciousness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala.

Salah (Prayer) and Sawm (Fasting) are two most important pillars of Islam. The interesting point to note is that Allah, while enjoining these obligatory acts of worship, uses a particular phrase that needs our attention, and because of which I said we must appreciate the graciousness of Allah, and of course the humane aspect of Islam.

“Tell My Servants”, to do this and this, and I shall admit them into “My Paradise”!

Here is a collection of the verses of the glorious Qur’an in which Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala directs His last and final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam, to tell to His servants about Himself and His expectations so that His believing servants execute His commands in order to win His Paradise. 

The more you reflect, the closer you get!

You turn, He turns, and success is yours!

The act of ‘turning to’ someone or something involves conscious participation on the part of the one who turns.  You cannot force a person to ‘turn to’ something when he is not ready or not willing to turn.

Or a person may be willing ‘to turn’ but his laziness may not let him do so. So you need to ‘put life’ into the person so as to make him active and lively.

Yusra Vs ‘Usra

Yusr, Yusra or Yaseer means ease or relief and ‘Usr, ‘Usra or ‘Aseer means hardship or difficulty.

Both are part and parcel of human life.

Everybody wants to make his or her life free of hardship and difficulties.

Islam guides people as to what leads to ease and comfort and what brings misery, distress and difficulties.

Qur’an Appreciates Christians

While mentioning people’s attitude towards the believers and followers of Islam, the Qur’an singles out the Christians highlighting their good nature and appreciable qualities.

The latest French magazine issue must be taken as an opportunity to learn and proceed with new energy. We need to move from being reactive to being proactive adopting positive approach for the cause of Islam.

Islam being the way of life produced, directed, chosen, approved, inspired and powered by Allah, none in the world has any potency to extinguish His Light. None!

The whole humanity with all resources put together cannot simply wipe out the religion of Islam. One can mock at the Prophet. One can slander Muslims and defame their religion. One can draw cartoons and prove his bankruptcy of civilized behavior. Stupid absurdities cannot harm even a hair of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

Barking dogs seldom bite. But then the need of the hour is to save the fabric of humanity from the possible bites left by some ferocious beasts.

Farewell Address

Everyone, except the war-mongers, want peace to prevail in the society. 

Presenting “The Prescription” for attaining Peace at all levels: Peace with oneself, Peace with one’s environment and Peace with one’s Creator.

I believe – and it’s true – that Allah’s help is always there. To give an example: I was inactive in this blog for quite sometime but then Allah kept it active! More than a hundred hits the post on this inspiring ayah alone gets on a daily basis. Alhamdulillaah and Maa’shaa’Allah.

Without the help and grace from your Lord, you cannot do anything. Nor can you achieve anything!

نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّـهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ  is yet another most inspiring ayahs of the glorious Qur’an.

Of Varying Rivers and Unlimited Delight

How delightful Jannah is going to be for the deserving inmates, no genius worth his salt, can imagine! It can only be described by its Creator! 

One sample of such a description is given in Surah Muhammad, Chapter 47 of the glorious Qur’an.

And, Subhanallaah, this one description is enough to motivate people to yearn for it. 

Seeking Light, Spreading Luminosity

The glorious Qur’an directs every human being to seek Light from the Source of Light as Almighty Allah alone can bring out a person from darknesses to Light. So man must understand that he to whom his Creator grants not light, for him there is no light!

Through the “Light Verse” of the Qur’an we understand the importance and significance of Light and Knowledge.

True believers in Islam are those who follow the Light that was sent down with Prophet Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam.

These are the Days of Eating, Drinking and Remembering Allah

The first day of Eid al Adha falls on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, which is called as Yaum-un-Nahr, the Day of Sacrifice.

The Days of Tashreeq are the three days after the Day of Sacrifice (that is, 11, 12th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah)

And, “These are the days of eating, drinking and remembering Allah”.
