RAMADHAAN’S GOLDEN MOMENTS are here!

alhamdulillaah, the Last Ten Days of Ramadhaan, especially the Laylatul Qadr nights are here to embrace us and shower immense blessings upon us, Inshaa’Allah.

Laylatul Qadr pic

‘Aa’ishah (radiyallaahu anha) said:

“When the last ten days (of Ramadan) would come, the Prophet sal-lal-laahu `alaihi wa sallam would spend his nights in worship, wake his family (at night), exert himself and tighten his Izaar (waist-cloth).”

This hadeeth is a proof that the Last Ten Days of Ramadhaan are very special in comparison to any other set of days in Islamic calendar.

Dear brothers and sisters, we must not leave any stone unturned in exerting ourselves to the utmost of our capacity in living the golden moments of Ramadhaan, Inshaa’Allah.

May Allah give us the hidayah and tawfeeque to do our best to live the Laylatul Qadr nights. Aameen

If someone is deprived of the blessings of the Nights of Laylatul Qadr, he/she is indeed deprived of the blessings of a t h o u s a n d months! May Allah save us from this deprivation. Aameen.

You must be aware that in Islamic calendar night comes first and then the day.

And according to authentic hadeeths, Laylatul Qadr falls in one of the odd nights of the last 10 days of Ramadhaan.

        So please be reminded that:

In UAE and places where Ramadhaan commenced on 2nd April 2022, the odd nights will fall InShaaAllah, on the following nights

  • Thursday night, 21st April – 21st Night
  • Saturday night, 23rd April – 23rd Night
  • Monday night, 25th April – 25th Night
  • Wednesday night 27th April – 27th Night and
  • Friday night, 29th April – 29th Night

And in Places where Ramadhaan commenced on 3rd April 2022, the odd nights will fall, InShaaAllah, on the following nights:

  • Friday night, 22nd April – 21st Night
  • Sunday night 24th April – 23rd Night
  • Tuesday night, 26th April – 25th Night
  • Thursday night 28th April – 27th Night and
  • Saturday night, 30th April – 29th Night

It is wiser, however, to spend all the nights, irrespective of odd or even, in the worship and glorification of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’aala.

And now, a few useful links before you scroll down to read about the golden moments, Inshaa’Allah.

Now, dear brothers and sisters, I would like to present a few facts on this Blessed Night, alhamdulillah.

Download the above as Presentation, Inshaa’Allah.

 Jazakallaahu Khayra for reading.

May Allah give us the Tawfeeque and Hidayah to do the ‘amal. Aameen.

  11. assalamualaikum,
Can you please explain the tarteeb for eid salah in this situation as i am getting two different answers …
One not to pray eid prayers instad go for chast prayer ,
Other opinion is to prat eid prayers in home ….if this holds good what about khutba … is eid prayers same as jummah prayers…

Comment by Mohammed Rafi Ahmed Shareef | May 13, 2020 | Reply

    • wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullaah……this is the question many are having in their mind…May Allah guide us to the Right Path…..According to majority of the two opinions, it is encouraged to pray at home when one misses the Eid prayer due to genuine reason. However, during this coronavirus/lockdown situation, it becomes all the more necessary, by compulsion, to pray at home, without any khutbah. Baarakallaahu Feekum, brother.
