An Open Letter To my dear Jumu’ah Muslim

My dear Muslim brother. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

Hope you receive this letter in good health.

I am sure you had been to a Masjid today to perform the Friday Prayer.

Well brother….If you think going to Masjid on other days is less important, then try going to your office or job once in a week.

I am sure you won’t try doing that. It is just a stupid idea.

I think you also understand that if somebody does like that, what will be his boss’s response and what will happen to his job!

How do you then think that the Masjid is built only for Friday Prayers?

Or do you think that your Muslim brothers, who perform their five time prayers in a day, are fools?

For whom do you think that the Prayer Call, Adhaan, is called Five Times in a day??

Why act smart and fool yourself, brother?

Please read these hadeeths, and understand their seriousness.

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “That which differentiates us from the disbelievers and hypocrites is our performance of Salat. He who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever.” Riyadhus Saliheen

Narrated Jabir that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Between disbelief and faith is abandoning the Salat.” Tirmidhi

I earnestly request you to look at the image below and draw lessons from it, InshaaAllah.

Stop being a Friday Muslim. Be a Muslim Allah wants you to be.

I make du’aa for you, brother.

May the following noble verses be an eye-opener for you and me, InshaaAllah.

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely.

The ones who establish prayer, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.” Surah al Anfaal 8: 2-4

May Allah give us the Tawfeeque and Hidayah to perform our daily prayers regularly and properly.

Sal-lal-laahu ‘Ala Muhammad, Sal-lal-laahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam.

Baarakallaahu Feekum.

This is really a great advice and may Allah (swt) help us to fullfil our obligation in our ibaadat specially the prayers as this is the very first thing that the slaves will be asked about on the day we meet Him.
