Sa’ee – the act of running between As-Safa and Al Marwah – is an important pillar of Hajj.

It reminds us of the great struggle of Hajira (or Hajar), the blessed wife of Prophet Ibraheem عليه السلام and the great mother of Prophet Ismaeel عليه السلام.
