An Inspiring Story of All Times

PS: I wrote this post 4 years ago when this blog had not many followers/readers. Don’t know whether you have read this before. If yes, thank you so much and Jazakallah Khayr. If not, please read and share, InshaaAllah. And btw, this is one of my best write-ups, alhamdulillah,  and I am glad to say this. Baarakallaahu Feekum.

‘Then He will not neglect us’.

Can you recall which blessed Muslim woman in history said this uniquely inspiring statement? If your answer was Hajar, then you guessed it right!

Do you know the background in which this exceptionally bold lady uttered this revolutionary statement – a statement which I feel has assumed the shape of a dew drop that is permanently embedded in the cheek of time! Continue reading

Fireworks all the way!

The story of this noble man is stunningly spectacular. Strikingly impressive. Marvelously captivating. Miraculously amazing. And beautifully inspiring!

Born in the midst of a sea of statues and idols, he grew up to shatter every ill-conceived idea his family and fellow citizens had formed about the Lord of the worlds.

He used every possible way to convince his people, starting with his father, that there can be human dignity only when you submit and surrender to the One True Lord Who is the Creator and the only Care-Taker of all.  Continue reading

Ni’mal Maula Wa Ni’man Naseer!

Today (1st Muharram 1434), I would like to discuss on this very popular statement: Ni’mal Maula Wa Ni’man Naseer! This statement is generally said immediately after yet another most inspiring statement: Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakeel!

Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakeel, Ni’mal Maula Wa Ni’man Naseer!

These two phrases/statements are mentioned separately in different Surahs in the Qur’an. The meaning and the context of these two statements are so striking that we notice many among Muslims uttering and proclaiming them together. While it is not ‘a must’ to say them together, yet the miraculous beauty of the Qur’anic words weaves a tapestry in the canvas of one’s mind! Subhanallah!  Continue reading

Jumu’ah Khutbah in UAE (26 DhulQa’dah 1433)

The topic for tomorrow’s (12th October 2012) Jumu’ah Khutbah in UAE masajid is:

‘The virtues of first Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah and Hajj’.

Praise be to Allah, Who has prescribed Hajj so for His servants to witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah, the All Knowing. Allah has preferred him over many others and selected him to be His Messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who will follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.  Continue reading

Yes, Hajar said this – Hajar, the great mother of Prophet Ismail and the obedient wife of Prophet Ibrahim! (Peace be upon all of them)

Do you know the background in which this exceptionally bold lady uttered this revolutionary statement – a statement which I feel has assumed the shape of a dew drop that is permanently embedded in the cheek of time! Continue reading
