Ustadha Taimiyyah Zubair is known for her Qur’anic erudition. This Ramadhaan, I was fortunate to get the daily postings of the Juz-by-Juz summary of the Dawrah-e-Qur’an taught by the renowned Ustadha – through two teachers of Islamic Education: Tr. Ishrath Shaheen & Tr. Saima Naz. I thank both these teachers for sharing these important learning resources. 

I just merged & compressed all the files, and am glad to share this useful work here for the benefit of the seekers of knowledge.

Friday Sermon on Prophet Muhammad

Friday Khutbah dated 9th Dec/10th Rabi al Awwal in the masajid of the UAE was on the topic “The Gifted Mercy”. Indeed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Mercy Personified. 

A Ramadhaan With Muhammadur Rasoolullah

When you love a person you want be like him. This is especially and spectacularly true when it comes to the love of Muslims towards their beloved Prophet sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam. To quote Ustadh (late) Khurram Murad,

“Indeed, never in history has a man influenced mankind, even beyond his death, so deeply and so pervasively as he has. He brings light and peace to countless hearts and lives. They love him more dearly than their own selves. In him they find their greatest source of inspiration and guidance. He is the ultimate norm and the perfect example for them…….”

The upcoming Ramadhaan will bring in its wake yet another opportunity for the Muslims worldwide to relive and demonstrate, once again, their unflinching love and reverence to the greatest man ever.

The caring Prophet, and a community so unmoved!

Every Friday, for more than one thousand four hundred years, it has been the practice of thousands of Muslims the world over to recite the Surah al Kahf.

This Surah, like other suwar of the Qur’an, has in its fold an ocean depth of meanings that gives Muslims a purpose to live, a sense of direction.

Today I would like to highlight an important aspect about the personality of the glorious Prophet, Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam, which this amazing Surah brings into limelight.

This aspect of our Prophet’s personality is often ignored by most of the Muslims in the world. Those who talk a lot about the fiqhi or jurisprudential  aspects of religious matters seldom get time even to ponder over this aspect of the Messenger of Allah.

Hardly we find Muslims in the world today observing this sunnah. 

Even if we adopt one percent of what our Benefactor use to feel, we would be doing a great service to our own selves in our day to day life. And those who have dedicated their life – such fortunate ones are unfortunately less in the world – to care and share the treasure of Islam to humanity, are really worthy of being called true followers of Prophet Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam. May Allah make us one among those fortunate few. Aameen.

Well, what is that thing that was in the person of the Prophet which is badly lacking in most of us? 

Jumu’ah Khutbah in UAE (21 Sept 2012)

The topic chosen for Jumu’ah Khutbah  in the masajid of UAE is apt and relevant in the context of the global reaction against the dirty movie on the Prophet of Islam.

Every must Muslim love the Prophet more than one’s own father, children and anybody else! The companions of the Messenger of Allah are the best role models for us.

How was the Companions love towards our Master, Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him?
