Ibn Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“He who guides (others) to an act of goodness, will have a reward similar to that of its doer.” Sahih Muslim

 مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ, فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ

“Tell My Servants”, to do this and this, and I shall admit them into “My Paradise”!

Here is a collection of the verses of the glorious Qur’an in which Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala directs His last and final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam, to tell to His servants about Himself and His expectations so that His believing servants execute His commands in order to win His Paradise.

Have you ever noticed this ayah that is sandwiched between the verses concerning fasting and Ramadhaan?

The hikmah why Allah chose to include this ayah in the midst of verses enjoining fasting in Ramadhaan is best known to Him alone. We can, however, infer that Allah wants us to supplicate more and more in this blessed month as He is ever ready to give more and more.

Alhamdulillah, today I compiled all the du’aas which I have been posting since few days and made it as a separate pdf file so that many brothers and sisters can use it at their convenience. Please feel free to circulate this file, Insha’Allah. 

Du’aa of Prophets Ibraheem and Muhammad (Peace be upon them)

After I posted the Qur’anic du’aas of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, I remembered that I have missed a beautiful du’aa in that compilation.

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

“Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer of affairs” (Surah Aal Imran: 173)

Du’aas of Prophets and Messengers of Allah

We Muslims, the followers of the last Prophet – Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him –  are the only fortunate community in the world for having blessed with the Qur’an that includes stories and inspiring lessons from the lives of different Prophets and Messengers of Allah, who came to this world from time to time to guide mankind. The glorious Qur’an, while narrating their life stories and teachings, also makes a mention of their du’aas (supplications). These du’aas are so inspiring that we need to learn them by heart and often call upon Allah by them. These du’aas are Allah’s selections, so to say, for the followers of His last and final Messenger. What an exclusive divine favour upon the Muslim Ummah!
