A letter to all Muslim brothers……about sisters!
Dear brothers in Islam, Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.
This is to request all Muslim men – husbands, fathers, fathers-in-law, boys and sons, brothers – to consider these two principal verses of the Glorious Qur’an and appreciate the graciousness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala.
Salah (Prayer) and Sawm (Fasting) are two most important pillars of Islam. The interesting point to note is that Allah, while enjoining these obligatory acts of worship, uses a particular phrase that needs our attention, and because of which I said we must appreciate the graciousness of Allah, and of course the humane aspect of Islam.

It is as if just now Ramadhaan started, and see how fast we are in to its ninth day! Truly, these أَيّامًا مَعدودٰتٍ limited number of days pass faster than we think! Subhanallaah!
Imaam Shafi’ said the truth when he compared life to an ice-cube. It melts quickly and in no time! One day death will strike us, and we will be no more!!

There are many “religious” books available in the spiritual supermarkets of the world. How many of them tell their readers or followers to ponder and reflect over their teachings?
Do you know that there are some wonderful religious books – so “wonderful” that you don’t need a brain to understand!
The Qur’an never makes its readers mentally-challenged! Alhamdulillaah.
The Qur’an is unique. It tells you to think. It makes you to think.
