Have you heard about this prayer? If yes, alhamdulillaah. If not, then let us learn about it and practice it accordingly, Inshaaallah.
In this post, you will learn about Salatut Tawbah – the Prayer of Repentance – its status in Islam, the reason for its prescription, how and when can it be offered.
It is as if just now Ramadhaan started, and see how fast we are in to its ninth day! Truly, these أَيّامًا مَعدودٰتٍ limited number of days pass faster than we think! Subhanallaah!
Imaam Shafi’ said the truth when he compared life to an ice-cube. It melts quickly and in no time! One day death will strike us, and we will be no more!!
The act of ‘turning to’ someone or something involves conscious participation on the part of the one who turns. You cannot force a person to ‘turn to’ something when he is not ready or not willing to turn.
Or a person may be willing ‘to turn’ but his laziness may not let him do so. So you need to ‘put life’ into the person so as to make him active and lively.
Early Hours before dawn is the most productive time by all means. Our glorious Prophet Muhammad sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam, his noble companions and the pious predecessors of the Muslim Ummah used to value this time by indulging in great acts of worshiping one’s Creator.
