How Ramadhaan fasts + 6 Shawwal fasts make fasting every day?
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic calendar.
Fasting six days of the month of Shawwal is mentioned in authentic ahadeeth.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whosoever fasted in Ramadhaan and then followed up with six fasting days of Shawwal, it is like fasting every day.” (Muslim) Continue reading →
