Double Yaqeen!

بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

There are two certainties in this ayah. Subhanallaah.

إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ

Firstly إِنَّ means Certainly, Verily, Definitely, Surely.

Secondly, we know that the prefix ل in Arabic is used for emphasis.

So the word لسميع means Most surely He listens.

The ayah إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ means Certainly, my Lord most surely listens to the Du’aas. The ayah also means: Surely, my Lord is, most certainly, the Hearer of supplications

When Allah recalls the du’aa of Ibraheem (AS) and presents it in the Qur’an, is it not a clear message to us that we must make du’aa while having double yaqeen (confidence & firm trust) that Allah will definitely answer our du’aas?

Baarakallaahu Feekum.
