Man between pleasant wind and stormy wind

Man loves to see, feel and enjoy things that are pleasant. He, by nature, hates things that are unpleasant, scary or gloomy.

You feel delighted when pleasant wind touches you. When you are at a lush green area, surrounded by exquisite fountains and beautiful flowers, you have a different feeling altogether.

As the weather changes, replacing pleasant wind with fiery, strong or stormy wind, your face also changes. Your feelings go topsy-turvy. You become sad.

Qur’an presents both the scenarios and highlights an important nature of man.

That which Endures, ensures.

At times certain things happen so quickly and in succession in our personal life, and we simply call it as co-incidence. Just an hour before I was reading something about Deception in the world wide web, and when I logged into my mail id, I found this piece of reminder. The one about which I was reading minutes before. Subhanallaah.

The Book that Shaped the World

This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah” (Al-Baqarah, 2:2)

Has anybody ever come across a book that contains a preface where its author mentions its infallibility from any single error? Has anyone ever heard of any author who talks with such confidence and authority? This is the Qur’an; it was revealed to one human being named Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and its Author is Allah, the Lord and Sustainer of the Universe. Continue reading
