Happy New Islamic Year 1439 :)

بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

Islamic Year and Hijrah are inseparable twins.

Similarly, a Muslim and Hijrah are inseparable.

Two hadeeths stand out distinctly when it comes to Islamic Year, Hijrah and Muslims.

These two great sayings of the glorious Messenger of Allah – Prophet Muhammad, sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam – in fact set the agenda for the New Year.

Nay, they set the agenda for every every New Month. Every New Week. Every New Day. Every New Moment!

If you care about your Islam, you will value them in your life.

So happy New Year to you, and to every moment of your life.

Stay blessed. Do something new each day. Something different. Something more than the previous day. In the best manner possible. To the utmost of your capacity.

Hadeeth 1:

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intention and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, then his emigration was for Allah and His Messenger. And whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.” Sahih al Bukhari

Hadeeth 2:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A Muslim is the one who avoids harming (other) Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden.”  Sahih al Bukhari

May Allah Bless the Ummah with His Choicest Blessings.
