The Nights of Laylatul Qadr

بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

alhamdulillaah, the Last Ten Days of Ramadhaan, especially the Laylatul Qadr nights are here to embrace us and shower immense blessings upon us, Inshaa’Allah.

If today is the 20th fast in your area, Tonight then is the first odd night (21st Night = one of the five Laylatul Qadr Nights)

RAMADHAAN’S GOLDEN MOMENTS are here!

‘Aa’ishah (radiyallaahu anha) said:

“When the last ten days (of Ramadhaan) would come, the Prophet sal-lal-laahu `alaihi wa sallam would spend his nights in worship, wake his family (at night), exert himself and tighten his Izaar (waist-cloth).”

This hadeeth is a proof that the Last Ten Days of Ramadhaan are very special in comparison to any other set of days in the Islamic calendar.

If someone is deprived of the blessings of the Nights of Laylatul Qadr, he/she is indeed deprived of the blessings of a thousand months! May Allah save us from this deprivation.

May we do our best to live the Laylatul Qadr nights. Aameen

    • Wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullah.
      only prayer is not allowed.
you have many other things permissible to do.
for eg. doing zikr, making dua, reciting quran from memory, reading the translation of the Quran, reading a book on the Prophet (sal..)
reading tafseer books, listening to the Quran recitation by your favourite Qaari etc. etc.
islam is easy religion and makes things easy for people.
may Allah reward you for your sincerity.
      Baarakallaahu
