An Effort in Facilitation

‘What sort of book is this?!!’

Friday and Surah al Kahf is synonymous with the reciters of the Qur’an.

What makes some of us to take a pause when we come across this ayah in Surah al Kahf?

The Qur’anic words are so effective that they take the readers on a virtual tour giving them the experience of visualizing the scene depicted as if it were to happen in front of one’s very eyes!

Allah, man’s Creator, has kept an in-built hard disk in every man by assigning two software specialists to record man’s deeds in great, accurate and minutest details. This hard disk, which is every man’s Book of Deeds, comes with an eternally protected anti-virus package! No virus worth the name can corrupt the data!!

This ayah reveals how man will be amazed on seeing his own data when it will be presented to him in the Day of Judgement:

18:49

“And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, “Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?” And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.” (Surah al Kahf 18: 49)

When police shows the evidence of crime, no criminal can escape from the clutches of law.

When this is the case with man-made law and the affairs of this dunya, what about Allah, the Master of the Day of Judgement, Whose grip is so stern that none can escape from His punishment!

And He never wrongs anyone!

May Allah save us all from the torment of the Hell fire. Aameen.

  1. But He also rewards the good ones!!!
Why do you write so one-sided when in the Qur’an it is always balanced with good side and bad side?
Also on that “hard disk” will be recorded the good deeds of the righteous!

    • You are right, the Quran is perfectly balanced.
Of course, good deeds are recorded in man’s Book of Deeds (hard disk).

But the ayah which i have mentioned speaks about the REACTION of those who did evil in this world.
The word used in ayah is Mujrimeen meaning criminals and evil doers.

      Thank you for your comment.
      Vassalam.
